‘Huli’ roars

The promising actor ‘Kanti’ Kishor and Jennifer Kotwal (of ‘Jogi’ fame) starring ‘Huli’(meaning Tiger) under the direction of N Om Prakash Rao went on the floors on Sunday at Kanteerava studios. Hat trick hero Shivarajakumar and challenging star Darshan attended the muhurut to sound the clap board for the first shot and switch on the camera. Sudheendra and Shivakumar are the producers of ‘Huli’ Kannada film.

Kishor plays the lead for the first time as a cop and the beautiful Jennifer hailing from an aristocratic family in the film plays the Television anchor. The objective of Kishor and Jennifer is the same – take the people in to confidence and work for the improvement of their status. Addressing the media at the Kanteerava studios actor Kishor said the ‘roar’ here is of the director.

The director Om Prakash Rao disclosed that he has been observing the ability of Kishor from his ‘Ishwar’ Kannada film. He is one such fine actor whose full potential has not been tapped yet. I am trying to do it in ‘Huli’. In a 35 days brisk schedule the shoot for this film will be completed and released in May said Om Prakash Rao.

In a Tumkur Hostel director Rao is erecting a Police Station set and shooting in Bangalore, Mysore and Uttar Kannada district locations.
